BRUSSELS: European Parliament President, Antonio Tajani, will pay an official visit to Cyprus tomorrow, 8 December. The President will deliver an address at the Cypriot House of Representatives and participate in a debate with Cypriot Youths on the future of the European Union.
Ahead of the visit President Tajani stated:”Cyprus has a key role in the stability and security of the Eastern Mediterranean. Since its accession to the EU in 2004, Cyprus is also a protagonist in the change that we need to realize for a Europe closer to its citizens, delivering on citizens’ concerns, on migration, employment and climate change.
The European Parliament stands with Cyprus and its citizens to reach a solution for reunification in line with the values and principles upon which the European Union is founded.”
